Many politicians will tell you what they believe. These beliefs may help potential constituents gaze into a crystal ball and help determine how their candidate may vote on specific issues - but very few politicians will tell you directly what they will do when in office. A platform is several initiatives or campaigns that a politician intends to realize while in office. This platform tells you what I hope to accomplish while in office.
